ADT
The ADT module deals primarily with patient appointment, registration, admission, discharge and transfer.

The patient can make an appointment with the hospital, get registered with specific details, and gets a unique patient ID No. (Once assigned, remains a permanent reference number for the patient) and a unique visit ID number (Changes with each visit of the patient). After routine registration details have been entered in the system, patient’s socio-demographic profile like patient’s name, patient ID number, visit ID number, age and sex are displayed on the title bar of every screen. ADT facilitates bed reservation, admission and transfer, subject to and availability and other factors like routine discharge, housekeeping etc. Specific to defined reference criteria, the ADT module helps the user to create a complete record of all patients including their personal and medical details.

Billing
The Billing module deals with hospital services and associated billing charges. It includes billing of outpatients and inpatients for registration, services/packages, bed occupancy, pharmacy/material items, blood bank, Operation Theater, diet, and ambulance among others. Financial clearances required at various stages for availing hospital services/facilities are also handled by the Billing module.

Billing module helps hospital to manage corporate, insurance and hospital insurance accounts and bill the patients in each category subject to contract specifications.

Blood Bank
The Blood Bank module helps users in managing blood inventory, blood orders, donor/receiver information, recording blood test results, and testing and cross matching of blood units in the hospital’s blood bank.

Operation Theatre (OT)
The Operation Theater (OT) module allows the user to process and monitor operation theatre data and services. This module processes schedulable and non-schedulable orders and provides the functionality of the sub stores module. The user can process the service schedules and track the progress of service schedules carried out in various OT points. The Operation Theater module also monitors the consumption of pharmacy/material items and maintains pre-operation and post-operation notes. In addition, OT supports recording of anesthesia notes, OT checklist, ward checklist, etc.

Consultation
The module allows the user to view the details of a patient such as the actual examination of the patient by the doctor, recording of history, and findings of the physical examination. Using the clinical documentation feature integrated with this module, doctors can process and report clinical service details and consultation notes. It also allows access to a patient’s medical record and treatment details. The consulting doctor can make a request for admission for an outpatient using this module.

General Sub Stores
The General Sub Stores module allows the user to control the acquisition, distribution, and use of supplies, in order to carry out the primary responsibility of meeting the demands for an efficient and effective inventory management system.

Pharmacy Sub store
The main functionality of the Pharmacy Sub Store module is to control the storage of supplies and dispensing of pharmaceutical supplies to patients.

Laboratory Information System (LIS)
The Laboratory Information System (LIS) module assists the user in handling all the activities of a clinical laboratory in the hospital and facilitates extensive sample tracking and maintenance of complete result history.

A new patient is assigned a registration number, and a visit id. In case of a stand-alone lab, LIS generates the registration number. The registration number for a patient is a unique number that is reserved for a patient’s lifetime (if the lab does not follow a policy of expulsion of data). Samples to be collected and/or procedures to be carried out are noted and the patient is directed to the various locations in the lab for submitting various samples. Using LIS, the user can generate sample ids for the collected samples and record the test results of each sample.

Order Communication
The Order Communication module allows the user to order and monitor services, pharmacy items, and blood. This module enables the user to update the list of services available in the hospital. The user can view the warnings associated with drugs before ordering them. Services can be scheduled automatically or manually and can be placed in the waiting list if free slots are not available.

Radiology
This module deals with the various events comprising radiology and imaging services like scheduling the service, and result reporting after performing the service. It allows for scheduling of patients for various radiology services at their appropriate service points. Results can be entered in the right report formats for each investigation.

Service Centre Manager (SCM)
This module deals with the performance of activities in various departments of the hospital including scheduling of the services, rendering of services and recording details of the service provided. It also takes care of the management of staff schedules and timings.

Nursing
The Nursing module allows the user to monitor the activities of inpatients and record progress notes. Using this module, the user can view allergies and process a doctor’s orders. The Nursing module can perform functions such as viewing service/pharmacy orders, placing service/pharmacy orders, revoking a patient discharge, recording/amending a patient’s temperature, pressure, and pulse readings, administering drugs, analyzing diet intake and transferring a patient from one nursing station to another.
